There has been some major changes on the site, both layout and content wise. This was necessary to be able to better handle the communication with you, the site readers, as well as to make the content more interactive. Here are some of the major changes:

  • Fully editable content: I received lately lots of e-mails with many suggestions on adding new information to the site, as well as updating the existing information pages.
Because my time is often limited, and the site reflects only one person's viewpoint about America, I thought it might be a good idea to broaden the viewpoint. So I decided to make the information pages fully editable, so you or anyone can add new information to the site, thus sharing the knowledge and experience about life in America. This means:

    • you can add new pages, sub-pages (called child pages) to any existing page, thus write about brand new topics of interest
    • update, refresh exsiting pages with new, updated information

I think this approach will be beneficial to the community. All you need to do is register on the site (fast and simple) and you can start adding new content at once.

  • Blogs: if you would like to share your thoughts about life in America, you can start your own blog. A blog is an online journal, article or series of articles ordered chronologically, with the newest post on top.
  • Forums: if you have any questions about life in America, please post it in the forums. This way not only me, but anyone else can help you answered quickly.
  • Guestbook: here you can send me feedback about the site, how you like it.
  • RSS newsfeeds: if you want to stay updated about new content on the site, please click on the orange icon on the top right corner. Saving this to your browser favorites will keep you updated about new content in a non-intrusive way.

Hope you will find all this useful.
